Collaboration with Confetti System
We just did a collaboration with our friends Confetti System. You might remember them as the creative duo who did the backdrop for our old ad with artist Terence Koh. For this project we created a costume together and made a video with filmmaker Jon Leone, who was the brilliant mind that made our FW2010 Show Video.
Confetti System’s show will be on view at Project Space. 141 Division Street. New York, NY 10002. Opening on Thursday, May 19, 2010.
Sonic Boom performs at United Bamboo FW/11 Show
This season we had a very special guest perform live music at our fashion show. The legendary Pete Kember AKA Sonic Boom. I can’t even tell you how much I loved Spacemen 3 back in the day. This was a like a dream come true for me. This is a video made by the very talented Jon Leone who also made music videos for Animal Collective & Ariel Pink. Enjoy!

United Bamboo x Porter
For FW2010 we did a collaboration with Porter, the very old Japanese luggage company known for quality bags. The styling is military in heavy canvas with leather trim and sail cloth gussets. Good for guys or gals. Three styles are now available in Japan and will be available soon on our newly designed online store www.unitedbamboo.com.

Hello Kitty! Want to become an international super-model for hip New York fashion brand? We are casting for our 2011 Calendar.
We will shoot on August 21 & August 22. Time TBD.
We can not guarantee kitty will make the cut but if you come to casting we will email you a picture of kitty.
If kitty makes into the calendar we will give you 10 copies.
